This year, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. With that in mind, the UK will have a four-day bank holiday weekend beginning from the 2nd June 2022 until 5th June 2022.

Street Parties - the UK has a long history of street parties to celebrate national events. So, why not organise one for your neighbours for the Platinum Jubilee? Just imagine all the tea and cakes… yum!

Watch the Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour) – more than 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will come together in the traditional Parade near Buckingham Palace. Head on down to the palace or watch it live from the comfort of your home on BBC!
- Plant a tree - The Queen’s Green Canopy is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 which invites people from across the United Kingdom to Plant a Tree for the Jubilee. Learn more about how you can get involved.
